You are the moon, by The Hush Sound

"Shadows all around you as you surface from the dark
Emerging from the gentle grip of night's unfolding arms
Darkness, darkness everywhere, do you feel all alone?
The subtle grace of gravity, the heavy weight of stone..

You don't see what you possess, a beauty calm and clear
It floods the sky and blurs the darkness like a chandelier
All the light that you possess is skewed by lakes and seas
The shattered surface, so imperfect, is all that you believe..

I will bring a mirror, so silver, so exact
So precise and so pristine, a perfect pane of glass
I will set the mirror up to face the blackened sky
You will see your beauty every moment that you rise."

It says so much in just so much. It's perfect. Just the lyrics, in themselves, they're just..perfect.

Ciao Ankita,

Attractive, admirable kind of work I’ve ever seen in my life! Or let’s say that there is so much great work happening here & I’m totally busy in finding somebody to blame for the problems created not by that somebody!

Well just got to know from your posts (poetry specially!!) that how insubstantial, unused I’m…
Your work is so marvelous … don’t have words to articulate!

It’s like a speech by god – Krishna! (Well Krishna may differ to anyone else!)

I’m lucky that just got net @ my house & so that will go through all your posts ASAP.

And hey so importantly (for me) inspired by you I’ll start writing now! Let’s see how I can get better…

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! Keep writing

Warm regards,

Deep
